Dawah on the Streets
Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A) narrated Prophet (S.A.W) said, “Abstain from sitting on the pathways!” (Upon hearing this the Sahaba) said “Oh Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) we have no alternative but to sit where we have our conversation”. Prophet (S.A.W) said “ if you insist on sitting then give the pathway its right!” The Sahaba (R.A) replied “what are the rights of the pathway oh Messenger of Allah (S.A.W)?” He said, “ 1. Lower the gave, 2. Remove anything which could cause harm, 3. Reply to salam, 4. Call towards good and forbid evil.

Dawah in the Shopping centres/shops/markets
Abdullah ibne Tariq (R.A) narrated, one day as I was in the market place of zulmajaaz a man passed by wearing red stripped garments and he was saying, “Oh people say (Arabic) there is no God but Allah. You will be successful” And behind him was another man who had wounded the young mans heels and shins. And (this man began to) shout aloud, “Oh people he is a liar, do not follow him.” (Upon seeing this) I enquired “Who is this man?” He is a young man from the Banu Hashim who claims to be the Messenger of Allah and (behind him) is his uncle Abdul Uzzaa (better known as Abu Lahab)
