Being Punctual in Taleem gathering even when out in the path of Allah

(Arabic)

Arruqaashi (R.A) narrated we were with Abu Musa Ash’ari (R.A) in a conquest on the banks of river Tigris (Dajla). When the time for zuhur salah approached the orier (caller) called for the prayers and people performed wudhu. Thereafter performed salah, (after performing salah) they sat down in halaqas (for taleem), when the time for Asr approached the caller called for salah. Once again the bulk of them proceeded towards wudhu. (Upon seeing this) the caller for salah proclaimed “only they perform wudhu who no longer are in the state of abulation!” (Narrator) said “knowledge (Ilm) is on the verge of leaving and ignorance is emerging that a man would strike at his mother with a sword due to ignorance.”

Note:
The Sahaba although out in the path of Allah for Jihad still were so punctual for taleem.
This is how the Sahaba spent their time during “asfar” journey and even in Jihad.

Dawah in the path of Allah and on journey

Ibne Umar (R.A) narrated “We accompanied the Messenger of Allah on a journey, (on the journey) a Bedouin proceeded towards us, as he drew near. Rasulullah (S.A.W) enquiered, “Where do you intend to go?” He replied “Home (to my family)”. So Rasulullah (S.A.W) said “Do you want to take something beneficial?” He replied, “What is it?” (Rasulullah (S.A.W)) said (Arabic) (Testify that there is no God but Allah alone, without any partners and testify that Muhammad (S.A.W) is the servant and messenger of Allah)
(After Prophet (S.A.W)’s dawah) the Bedouin asked “Do you have a witness over what you say?” (Prophet (S.A.W)) replied “This tree.” He called this tree which was situated on the side of the valley. (No sooner Prophet (S.A.W) commanded the tree) it approached tearing through the ground, and halted right in front of him. (Prophet (S.A.W)) requested the tree to give witness a total of three times. It thereafter testified to Prophet (S.A.W) had said. (After giving witness/testifying) it returned to its place and as the Bedouin returned to his people he has, “if my people follow mw I will bring them with me otherwise, I will return and accompany you”

Dawah on a journey

Saim Al-Aslami (R.A) narrated, “When the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) migrated form Makkah (on the way) he arrived at a place called Ghameem. (In Ghameem a amn who was yet a non-Muslim, by the name) Burayd Ibne Al-Haseeb came to (Prophet (S.A.W)). The messenger of Allah (S.A.W) called him towards Islam. Thereafter, he accepted Islam and more or less 80 families who were also with (Burayd) accepted Islam. Thereafter Prophet (S.A.W) offered Isha salah and they prayed behind him.

Dawah out in Jihad

Abdur Rahman Ibne A’aeiz (R.A) narrated “ Whenever the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) sent out an army for conquest (an army for Jihad) he would say, “ create peace amongst the people (friendship, make them familiar with you) and never attack them or raid them till you have given dawah, and rather than you bringing to me their wives and children and killing their men, I prefer that you bring all of them as Muslims despite they live in houses made of baker bricks (city) or unbaked bricks (village).”
